Rocket French: The Cure For High-School Language Class
I was required to take a language in high school and I chose French because someone told me it was easy. They were wrong. I had a terrible instructor who did not know how to teach. At the end of the year I got a barely passing grade and knew almost nothing about the language. Years later I had a chance to go to Paris and wanted to be able to speak with people in that city, and be understood. I found a Rocket French review online and ordered the course. To my surprise I was using basic phrases in a short time and could actually carry on conversations by the time I arrived in Paris. If my high-school teacher could see me now.
