Compiling Flag Football Plays
This year, we’re starting a new family tradition. Every year during Thanksgiving, my wife gets after me and our sons for getting underfoot while she is cooking. Since we don’t much care for watching football on TV, we’re going to start a tradition of playing flag football before dinner. My oldest son is already compiling flag football plays, and my younger boys are asking to have friends over that day to play. I’m pretty excited myself, and I feel a long and glorious tradition beginning to form. Maybe one day I’ll get to play with my grandsons on Thanksgiving day, while Grandma cooks the turkey.
