I heard recently that London is no longer one of the most expensive cities to visit on holiday, but apparently now is it considered to be really good value. I imagine that the change in fortunes of England’s currency, the Pound, will have had something to do with it. Tourist services have been slashing prices too so there are lots of cheap hotels around at the moment. It definitely makes me want to take a trip over there. I’ve heard loads of great things about the city’s tourist attractions, activities, dining, theatres and hotels. Definitely worth a try at some point.

My TEFL certification course was brutal, but totally worth it.  The skills I learned are immediately transferable to any teaching situation, and to life in general.  How did I find the program I went through?  I searched online for tefl information, and found that the highest rated school in Latin America was in Costa Rica (with an offshoot in Peru).  After flying down there with my best friend (also a teacher) we endured four straight weeks of all-day classes and all-night homework.  People got so stressed out that they began binge-eating, and soon after every class the formerly stately table became strewn with wrappers and empty bottles, cans, and boxes.  I truly think that if the course had gone on much longer we all would have started to come in in our pajamas and bring massive baked goods, all in an effort to comfort ourselves and combat the stress of the course.  Luckily, we all made it through alive, and learned a ton!

After waiting for about four years for this time, it is finally time for my senior prom.  I am so excited because all of my friends and I are planning to get a really spectacular ride to and from the event: We need to find Limousine Service Minneapolis.  We plan to have about ten people or so, and the plan is to stop by an have a really nice dinner first, then on to the prom.  After it is over, we want to take the limo out for a really early morning breakfast and just really enjoy ourselves.  We figure that it is worth making our final event as seniors in high school into a big event.

My family loves recording events and the details of our lives.  We keep all this in a journal which we will one day give to the next generation.  By doing this we hope to share with our children’s children the varied experiences and the lessons we learned.  One of the events that we are looking forward to sharing is our vacation to New Zealand.  Hopefully our family members will one day be able to travel there as well.  It isn’t your typical vacation because of the distance and time requirement but we were unwilling for anything be an obstacle that would prevent us from going.  In our humble opinion the best way to go is Waihi Beach Holiday Homes.   These homes are perfect for staking your claim on a little bit of New Zealand without ever getting a mortgage!  We loved every minute of the trip.

Several of the gals in the office are preparing to leave for a fantastic vacation to the grand Garden Isle of Kauai. These girls have been saving up money and pooling their financial resources for over two years now, just so that they could book several rooms at a Kauai Resort, in order to enjoy two wonderful sunny weeks in the Hawaiian Islands! I envy them, as I will not be going with them, but they have all promised to create lovely photo albums for us, to share their experience with the rest of us in the office. I am very excited for them to go!

Our small town has suffered because of the poor economy, and we needed to find a way to boost tourism. We have some amazing beaches and marine life to enjoy, so I decided to focus on that. I hired someone to update our website, and I also went online and bought some undersea videos to put on my site. That way, potential tourists could see some of the beauty that our beaches have to offer. Within two months of adding the videos, we saw an increase in tourism, and our charters and scuba schools started filling up. I am so happy that things are looking up for our town.
