Working in a  customer service area, for our customers protection we do not allow cell phones on the floor because we deal with credit cards, ordering, etc. We used to have a credit safe department who would walk randomly throughout the company and if they would see any agents out with their phones customer service would get fined, which would take money out of our yearly bonuses. Now that we have the mobile phone jammer we have not received any fines. It is amazing, what a difference it has made. We do not have to ask our agents to leave their cell phones at home or put them away because they can not be used in our building.

I just picked up my new laptop computer. I hope that this laptop will have enough memory for my needs. My old computer just did not have enough space for all of the software that I needed to load onto it. One of my largest pieces of software is a letting agency software program. It takes up a lot of room, but with my job I could not live without it. With this and a few other large gaming programs, it can really bog down a computer. This is why I spent the extra 400 dollars for the extra hard drive space. I think it should be good for awhile.

I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about how identity can very easily be compromised through the computer, but I just thought it was a scare tactic. It would be really nice if I was able to google things from the comfort of the Nintendo DS console that I am used to. It seems that the iPhone with all of its bells and whistles could not destroy the Google Phone it seems that the entire Nintendo company has not been at all competant. With the iPhone 3gs car charger you can add all kinds of other software to the Nintendo DS that you normally would not be able to get anyway and with all that said there is going to be quite a bit of proof and stuff.

Nintendo has been at the top of the video game mountain for some time now it seems. They are far ahead of Microsoft and their xbox 360 and Sony with their PS3 Slim. But they now have to fear someone else says the video game review site iPhone Accessories, and that is Apple Inc. I think that have plenty to fear as Apple has made some major in roads into the video game market recently and are shown to have taken some market share away Nintendo as well as Sony and I think that they will only get bigger and better. 

At this point I am not altogether worried about fixing my laptop as I am worried that the information that I have stored on the computer itself can not be retrieved. On a recent business trip my computer started acting funny and while I just assumed it was a little bug of some sort it all but stopped working when I returned home. It was an important business trip so I need the Laptop Repair people to just salvage whatever they can as a first priority and then after that see if they can get the computer up and working again.

Do you know that my daughter does not own an umbrella? This just shocked me.  She is a very intelligent individual who makes her own money. She works hard and has lots of common sense.  But for whatever reason, she insists on running from the car to the store getting drenched in the process.  I asked her recently why she doesn’t just use an umbrella.  She replied that the buy link was broken when she went to buy one so she just never did. Did I really raise a child that could not walk into Walmart and just pick out an umbrella? Is today’s generation so dependent on the Internet that they have to cyber shop for simple items like umbrellas? I was floored. She should not blame me when she gets an umbrella for a Christmas gift!

My brother is an architect and he has become very active in LEED certification.  He wants to do all that he can to help ensure that the planet is not harmed any further.  He is taking a leed exam next week.  He wants to help get more homes certified and has decided that he wants to commit to this program.  He was telling me some of the startling statistics and I am so glad that he is taking action.  We do our part when it comes to energy conservation, but we cannot do it alone.  I am glad that larger companies are becoming involved in this effort.
